Enhancing the Debate about Intercultural Dialogue, EU Values and Diversity 

Objectives

One of Project’s objectives is to increase the interest and enhance knowledge in the field of EU studies, particularly in the field of EU values, diversity and intercultural dialogue in order to prepare citizens, future political and economic leaders, as well as opinion leaders and law makers.

 It aims at the stimulation of research, reflection and dialogue in the field of European integration studies, particularly EU values, diversity and intercultural dialogue from a multidisciplinary perspective. In this respect, the following objectives shall be pursued.

Lastly, project aspires to increased cooperation between academia, research institutions, international organisations and institutions and the civil society in the EU that will enhance the capacities of professors and researchers and address society’s needs.

25 hour - Online Seminar “Intercultural Dialogue as a European Project” - Mondays 16, 23, 30 of November and 7, 14 of December 2020

The Jean Monnet Project “Enhancing the Debate about Intercultural Dialogue, EU Values and Diversity” of the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia has organized the 25 hour – Online Seminar “Intercultural Dialogue as a European Project” on Mondays 16, 23 and 30 of November as well as 7 and 14 of December 2020 from 17:00 to 21:00 Athens Time. 

International E-Conference “The Role of Intercultural Dialogue in Managing Diversity in Europe” - November 18th and 19th 2020

The Jean Monnet Project “Enhancing the Debate about Intercultural Dialogue, EU Values and Diversity” of the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia, Greece organizes the International E-Conference about “The Role of Intercultural Dialogue in Managing Diversity in Europe” to be held on the 18th and 19th of November from 16:00 to 20:30 Athens time.

Seminars

The Jean Monnet Project EU Vadis Policy Discourses on Intercultural Dialogue, EU Values and Diversity, University of Macedonia in cooperation with the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence for European Constitutionalism and Religion(s), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki organized a summer seminar from the 30th of June until the 3rd of July entitled “Challenges for European Societies”. The total duration of the above summer seminar was 27 hours. 

The speakers of the seminar are distinguished University Professors, academics, experts and lawyers.
