Anastasia Chatzifotiou

Anastasia Chatzifotiou was born in Thessaloniki.  She is at the 4th year of her studies in the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies at the University of Macedonia specializing in political and social sciences. She is interested in foreign languages, translation, international relations and human rights. She speaks English (C2), Russian (A2), Arabic (A2) and Japanese (self-taught).

Elisavet Karipsiadi

Elisavet Karipsiadi is a fourth year Law student at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has completed a three-month internship at the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU in Brussels, as well as a brief internship at a law firm in Athens. She has participated in the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) Summer Law School on Banking and Finance, in Germany. Alongside her studies, she has attended scientific events of legal interest. She speaks English (C2), French (C1)  and German (B1).

Elisavet Sidiropoulou

Elisavet Sidiropoulou was born in Thessaloniki and graduated from Hellenic-French School Kalamari. She is a second year undergraduate student at the Faculty of English Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she plans to focus on Translation and Intercultural Studies. She is an experienced member of the European Youth Parliament (EYP) since 2014, having taken part in over 20 conferences of the network, and she has served as the President of the Executive Board of the EYP Greece (2019-2020). She speaks English (C2), French (C1), Spanish (C1), and Italian (B2). She teaches English as a Foreign Language and she subtitles TED talks on voluntary basis.

Fotini Karagianni

Fotini Karagianni has graduated from the Aristotle College of Thessaloniki, with a grade of
19,2. Then, she graduated from the English Language and Literature Department of the
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a grade of 8,05. She speaks English (C2) and
German (B2). She is interested in translation and teaching of English to students of Primary
and Secondary Education.

Vasiliki Liaskou

Vasiliki Liaskou was born in Mouzaki Karditsa and graduated from Mouzaki General Highschool. She is in her fourth year of studies at Law School of the Aristotle University ofThessaloniki. She is fluent in English (C2) and in French (Level C1). She is also an ECDL holder.In her free time she attends training workshops and conferences.

Stergios Mechtidis

Stergios Mechtidis is a third year undergraduate student at the Department of International
and European Studies with a specialization on Political Studies and Diplomacy, of the University of Macedonia. His fields of interest are European Integration and Political Behaviour Analysis. He speaks English (C2). In his free time he attends conferences and
seminars.

Christos Natskos

Christos Natskos was born in Thessaloniki. After completing his undergraduate studies in the Department of English Language and Literature of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he enrolled in the Master’s in International Public Administration of the University of Macedonia, which he is currently attending. He is mainly interested in the fields of linguistic, cultural and minority rights protection. He has competed an internship in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in state secondary schools and participated in numerous conferences, mainly in the field of International Relations. He speaks English (C2), German (B1) and Spanish (university class level).

Georgia Tsalgini

Georgia Tsalgini graduated from the second high school in Edessa with a gradeof 18,7. She is at the 4th year of her studies at the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Orientalstudies at the University of Macedonia with a particular interest towards political science and human rights in the Balkans with an average grade of 8. She speaks Russian (B2), German (C1) and English (C2) and holds a diploma in computer skills. She is interested in becoming a political researcher in the Balkans.

Theodora Zarkada

Theodora Zarkada was born in Ioannina and graduated from the 7th Senior Highschool of Ioannina in 2016. She is studying law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She speaks English (level C2) and has a good knowledge of computers (Certification “Global Cert”). Also, she has participated in conferences and seminars related to her studies. She is a volunteer at the team “Epirus Youth Network”.

Nikoleta Tsakaleri

Nikoleta Tsakaleri was born and raised in Thessaloni, Greece. She is a law student at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She speaks English (C2) and German (B1). She completed internships at the District Court of Thessaloniki, as well as at the Research Unit “European Policies and Democracy” of the University of Macedonia. She is participating in the 6th National Moot Court Competition (Civil Jurisdiction) and the 8th European Human Rights Moot Court Competition. She is also assistant editor-in-chief for the fourth issue of the legal magazine “Expressis Verbis Law Journal”. She was a member of the organizing committee and a participant of the municipal council simulation “Dimothen”.

Mary Peidou

Mary Peidou is a student of the Department of International and European Studies, having chosen the specialization on Political Studies and Diplomacy. She is actively involved in voluntary activities and academic conferences on European Union topics. At the same time, she is an intern at he Center of International and European Economic Law. She speaks English (C2), French (C2), German (B2) and Russian (B1).

Jenny Seferidou

Jenny Seferidou is an undergraduate student at the 2nd year of her studies at the Department of Educational and Social Policy at University of Macedonia. She was an intern at the UNESCO Chair of Intercultural Policy for an Active Citizenship and Solidarity of the University of Macedonia. She has attended multiple conferences of the aforementioned UNESCO Chair and the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence UOM, as well as the 3rd Summer School on the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice that the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence of University of Macedonia organized in 2018. She speaks English (C2) and German (B1).

Αfroditi Tsigkouroglou

Afroditi Tsigkouroglou is 21 years old from Thessaloniki. She is an undergraduate student at the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Macedonia with a specialization on Political Studies and Diplomacy. She speaks English (C2) and Spanish (B2). She has attended seminars and conferences related to her studies and took part in a project with other students in cooperation with the Embassy of France about the municipal elections in Thessaloniki.

She is at the 4th year of her studies in the Department of International European and Studies of the University of Macedonia with a specialization on International and European Economic Studies. Aristotle Kyriakidis

Aristotle Kyriakidis is currently at the last year of his studies at the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia with a specialization on International and European Economic Studies. He speaks English (C2), German (B1) and Spanish (university class level) and holds an ECDL diploma. In his free time he is involved in programming and foreign languages.

Ilias Tsakayiannis

Ilias Tsakayiannis is an undergraduate student in the Department of Economics of the University of Macedonia. He was an intern at the Chamber of Industry of Thessaloniki for 6 months and at the UNESCO Chair in intercultural policy for an active citizenship and solidarity of the University of Macedonia. He has participated in several simulations of national, regional and international organizations and is a member of several voluntary organizations in Thessaloniki.

Ioanna Paskoni

Ioanna Paskoni is an undergraduate student at the Department of Political Science at the Democritus University of Thrace. She speaks English (C2) and French (B2). Her goal, after completing her studies, is to enter the Diplomatic Corps. In her free time she volunteers at various non-governmental organizations by organizing and attending conferences.

Maria Polynaki

Maria Polynaki is an undergraduate student of the Department of Political Science at Democritus University of Thrace. She speaks English (B2) and French (C2). She is also editor-in-chief of an online magazine on culture etitled ‘Maxmag’. In her free time she attends seminars and conferences on the European Union, human rights and the international political scene and she volunteers at non-governmental organizations.

Anastasia Papadopoulou

Anastasia Papadopoulou is senior undergraduate at the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Macedonia. She conducted her internship at the Hellenic Republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Directorate for Human Rights, Minorities, Refugees and Μigrants, and also at the Institute of International, Defense and European Analyses. She has been nominated as an active Youth Leader by the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations in Vienna, has participated in UN global forums, has attended seminars at the American Consulate in Thessaloniki, as well as summer courses at the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence of the University of Macedonia, and speaks fluently English and French. Currently, she is an administrative and research assistant at the UNESCO Chair “Women, Peace and Security” of the University of Macedonia and the Erasmus+ “Invented Life” project aimed at empowering refugees in their efforts to integrate into host countries. 

Dimitris Savvidis

Dimitris Savvidis is currently in the fourth year of his studies in the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia, in the specialization of Political Studies and Diplomacy. He has undertaken an internship at the Institute of International, European, and Defense Analyses. He has attended a number of conferences as well as a Common Security and Defense Policy orientation course. Moreover, he speaks English (C2) and Italian (B2). Currently, he is volunteering in an international relations learning project for young students and the wide public. His internship started on November 1rst 2020.

Dimitris Gioftsidis

Dimitris Gioftsidis has graduated from the 1st Panorama High School with a GPA of 19,3/20. He is currently in the third year of his studies at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, in the Department of International and European Studies. He speaks English and German fluently at the C1 level. During his high school years, he participated in a number of educational programs as the 14th Thessaloniki Model United Nations (MUN) and a Cultural program titled “Human Rights: Refugees and Migrants in the beginning of the 21st Century – International  Institutions and Regulators”. In his free time, he prefers to read articles related to foreign affairs and he attends conferences. His internship started on November 1rst 2020.

Chrysoula Toliopoulou

Chrysoula Toliopoulou is a third-year student in the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Macedonia, having chosen the direction of Politics and Diplomacy. She attends seminars and conferences related to her studies.  In addition, she participates in voluntary activities and she is a member of the voluntary team at the Career office of the University of Macedonia. She speaks English (C2) and French (C1). She has been an intern at the EU Security Watch Spot since January 2021.

Stavros Piperidis

Stavros Piperidis was admitted to the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia in 2018, with the 2nd highest score. Throughout his studies, he actively participated in numerous conferences, simulations, voluntary activities, and civil society organizations. He has worked, as a trainee, for the Permanent Representation of Greece to NATO, for NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Greece as a Political Adviser (POLAD), for the Centre for Democracy & Law Research, for the UNESCO Youth Club of Thessaloniki, as well as for Vouliwatch.
